 Web
Marketing
Today many people turn to the internet
to find services and products in their home town and surrounding area, versus the more traditional
method of consulting the Yellow Pages. When they do ARE THEY FINDING YOU?
Anyone searching for a product or service on Google, Yahoo or Microsoft Bing is presented with a variety of results.
These include paid advertising (Pay-Per-Click or PPC), Free/Paid Advertising (free to all, pay for a higher ranking) and the actual
search results (affected by Search Engine Optimization). Below is an example of a local search for Heater Repair
You can see that Three of the Four sections are devoted to ADVERTISING. Is
your ad showing up here? If not, IT SHOULD BE!
Pilot Peak Internet Marketing can help you decide which
of the many advertising options are right for your business. We have
years of experience in creating and managing Search Engine Advertising
Campaigns and Search Engine Optimization techniques. The main areas of
focus for Web Marketing are:
Local Search Advertising
All three major search engines offer a Local advertising service.
These are free for basic listings but you can pay a fee (~$5 to $50) for a higher ranking.
As part of your Email Broadcast and Lead Capture System setup, Pilot Peak Internet Marketing will automatically list
you with Google Local, Yahoo Local and Microsoft Bing Local services. Your positioning will depend on the competition
and whether or not you want to pay for higher ranking status. We will help you make the right decision for your business.
Pay-Per-Click Advertising
The traditional method of advertising requires paying large amounts of money to put your ad in front
of people who may or may not want your product or service. You are paying for a non targeted audience.
With Pay-Per-Click advertising your ad only shows up to people who are looking for YOU. On top of
this you are only charged by the Search Engine provider if
your ad is actually viewed or “clicked”. This allows great control
over who sees your ads and your monthly advertising budget. This is targeted advertising!
Search engine traffic can be captured by small businesses
at a small fraction of the costs required to place traditional advertisements.
When the prospect goes to a search engine, such as Google.com, and types
in their keyword phrase, they will see your ad appear to the right of or
on top of the search results.
You only pay, when the user clicks on the ad to go to or “land” on your web site.
Where in the offline world can you display your ad for
free, and only pay when you get a direct response from your prospect, to receive more information?
Imagine if you only paid for Yellow Pages advertisements,
when the user actually dials your business phone number?
Keyword Analysis
Keyword analysis provides the backbone of any PPC campaign creation, or any online marketing efforts for that matter.
Without proper identification of performing keywords the results of any online marketing efforts are diminished.
Keywords are search terms that people type into search engines when seeking information. They can be a single word or a phrase.
In performing Keyword Analysis, Pilot Peak Internet Services will research and identify the 25 most
profitable keywords for your niche.
Profitable keywords consist of keywords that have enough search volume (search traffic) and that have low competition.
Search volume and competition will vary significantly based on your niche/industry. The lower the competition, the less you will pay per click.
These 25 keywords will be broken down into groups and two ads will be written for each group. For example, someone searching
for “air conditioner new” will want to see an ad that tells why you have the best prices in town on new equipment but someone searching for
“air conditioner repair” will want to know about your low rates and service plans.
PPC Campaign Setup
Once the 25 keywords are identified, Pilot Peak Internet Marketing will setup your PPC campaigns in Google Adwords, Yahoo Search Marketing and
Microsoft’s Bing AdCenter
The campaigns will be structured for optimal performance, and your daily budget can be set to the dollar level you want.
All 25 keywords will be included as search terms which trigger your ads.
We will review and make suggestions on your requested advertisements, and will load them into the three campaigns.
Clients may wish to vary the advertisements for the various keywords.
PPC Campaign Management
Pilot Peak Internet Marketing will review and optimize your ads daily for the initial two weeks after initiation. We will then perform an
ongoing bi-weekly review and optimization.
These reviews and optimization steps will minimize your cost per click and thus your cost per lead while maximizing
your exposure to potential customers.
We will provide monthly reports showing your keyword and ad performance. These monthly reports will give a clear picture
of what is working and what is not. We will also suggest keyword and/or ad changes we feel are important.
Every 6 months Pilot Peak Internet Marketing will provide an updated Keyword Analysis report and review it with you.
This is important to understand the changes in the Search marketplace for your product or service.
Based on this 6 month Keyword Analysis review we will update the keywords and ads in your Google, Bing and Yahoo
campaigns to keep you on top.
Search Engine Optimization
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the active practice
of optimizing a web site by improving internal and external aspects
in order to increase
the traffic the site receives from search engines. Firms that practice
SEO can vary;
some have a highly specialized focus, while others take a more broad
and general approach.
